Seems like just yesterday my mom handed me my brown bagged lunch everyday. Today was my first - strangely nostalgic for me - my first of hundreds.... I need to remember how happy I was to make it today. I even left a note ( hope the teacher reads it for him - he has lunch at school every Monday).

A HUGE Day in the Woods Family!

Jack started Kindergarten today at Diamond Creek Elementary School in Mrs.Omiatek's afternoon class!!! AND Patrick threw the opening pitch at the Sacramento River Cats game!!

York Beach, Maine

We have Corie's burial in our beloved York, Maine on Monday.
The boys were PRECIOUS in their matching outfits and backpacks. We just landed in Boston - now an hour and half drive to York Beach. P and I couldn't be more proud - the boys were incredible the whole trip. MAKES IT SO MUCH EASIER ON US!!


We left Sacramento at 8:30 AM


Left San francisco on delayed flight at 2:30

Then arrived in Boston at 1:15 AM! We will be at house about 3:00 AM - such troopers!!!
