Celebrations all around for Jack!

Saturday Jack and Siena celebrated their birthdays together!


He thought his first cupcake was DELICIOUS!

Sunday the Mejias Family drove up over an hour so we could meet each others babies! Thank you!

This morning - June 30th - J got a candle in his waffle!

Doctor's appointment in the morning! 18 pounds! Fell OFF the growth chart but the doctor says he is fantastic and thriving!

At lunch he got to dine at the beloved Olive Garden!

For dinner we had a family picnic in the park and fed the ducks!

Tahoe

This past weekend (as P mentioned in his last post) we were in Truckee helping Susan with her house. We took a few hour break on Saturday and went to King's Beach in Tahoe. It was so fun to watch Jack explore the water and sand!

So, we got a chance to use the new pack while we were up in Tahoe this weekend. We climbed to eagle lake at emerald bay. It was great to get out and climb on some rocks with jack and gina!
Note to self though... Time the next hike around nap time, not during it.

Can you say Siena?

The other day I was changing Jack in the guest room. On the computer was a picture of Siena. He pointed to her and I said "That is Siena", he then said "Neh-Na!" I thought that was precious. I was telling P about it at dinner that night and he wanted to hear it for himself. He brought out the camera . . . Although he does not say "Siena", it is cute how he tried!

Happy FIRST Father's Day Monkey!

What an amazing blessing it is for my son to have P as a dad. As soon as the door chime rings each night when P gets home, Jack shakes his arms and hums in excitement knowing his dad is home. Thank you P for being so precious with our boy. Happy Father's Day and happy hiking!

Aunt Mimi (Danielle's sister) is in town from France! We only get to see her twice a year! It is always a SPECIAL treat to be with her! She is so beautiful and so filled full of life!

It is with pleasure I introduce to you YOGABERRY! I have been waiting for the Sacramento area to catch onto the amazing trend of plain frozen yogurt and fresh fruit (Pink Berry). I was introduced to it down south and crave it each time I go! Yogaberry is a knock off 35 minutes away from us in El Dorado Hills - each bite is worth every minute to get there! A yummy, healthy treat! Thanks to my sweet husband for driving us there!!!
