Jack LOVES his school! Well look who looks like his mama?!
I love the way they set up snack for school. The children are expected to use all of the utensils and pour themselves their own juice or milk. Sweet Harmony & Steve came to visit us at the end of the month. What a joy they both are! We took them to the railroad museum and ordered take out Italian. They are so easy and so fun. Thank you for visiting! As you can see from Stenn's clothes and accessories we like orange in this family! REMEMBER FAMILY YOU CAN CLICK ON THE PICTURES & THEY WILL GET BIGGER :)
I took the boys to see my grandpa for most likely their last time. Jack raced his scooter throughout his back yard while Stenn explored. My 96 year old grandpa, who is starting to slowly let go and is quite tired - threw the ball for Stenn three times. Such a special memory for me . . .
Baby Frankie (Robin's son) and Stenn on the blanket! Cannot believe this blue-eyed babe is almost 6 months old!!!
Jack had a field trip to the Folsom Zoo (who knew there was a Folsom Zoo)? Us on the train and the boys in front of a dear. Greatest thing about this zoo - peacocks freely roaming wherever you walk!
Jack shared his spider-man book/magnet draw at school the other day. A fantastic (always keeps him busy in the car) gift from Danielle!
Jack took this picture of Stenn and me. Unfortunately it is quite blurry. It seems like just yesterday I was Stenn's age running around in my grandparents backyard. A lot of fun memories in this backyard :) I remember being a little girl sitting at the table for dinner (the same table that was in their home when my mom met my dad at age 16) and my grandpa would (in my imagination) yell, (but I realize now he was not yelling, just intensely encouraging) "manji no beva!" meaning "eat don't drink!" in Italian. I would always drink my apple juice instead of eating my food! (hope my translation is correct . . . Sarah?)
Stenn had his 15 month appointment. He weighs 21.12 pounds - registering in the 20th%! That's a big deal in our family! And of course we can always count on the 95th% head! He walks all over the place and is a man of few words :) Mama, Dada, Ball, More and Bah for bottle. Jack shared his "computer" (or as he calls it his "besputer") last week. His teacher, Mrs. Hinton, is, I believe, the best preschool teacher on the face of the planet! She makes children feel so important and loved. This little monkey is always climbing on something! They both eat at the table together now - Stenn thinks he is all that and a bag of chips! A small break from the rain had the boys outside fixing the bench that had fallen down from the storm. As well as some shovel digging! Susan gave us these adorondack chairs from her old house - they are fun to have! Stenn has a slight obsession with books (a great obsession to have!). His favorite is Brown Bear Brown Bear. Each time I read it to him he belly laughs and shakes (as if it was the first time every time)!!!!
A great day is wearing mommy's raincoat, wearing froggy boots and hiding under your dinosaur umbrella! Auntie Susie (Big Stenn's Mom) came to help me with the boys while Patrick was gone for a week on a business trip! She was a HUGE help! I am so grateful and the boys and I had a wonderful time with her :) Grandma and Grandpa Woods brought back Lobster Maine Lollipops for the boys - and the were DEEEEEEE-LICIOUS!!!!!
Stenn's 13 month picture (he is now 14 months) Uh-Oh! Grandma Shirley got Stenn a matching chair for Christmas! Stenn started walking on February 12th! He does about 5 steps at a time! Getting better each day (when he feels like it). Below - Jack's first Valentine party at preschool!!
Stenn was dedicated at church on December 5th! Deanne (with Cole & Kate) was visiting her parents in Granite Bay December 6th! Grandma & Grandpa & Santa got Jack a scooter for Christmas! My girlfriend Cara, from Regus, bought Stenn this airplane when he was born - we put it together for Christmas! On the 29th we packed up and drove up north to see the Brachs in Portland. It was a quick trip but worth every minute! The drive there is absolutely gorgeous. Nolan & me at the AMAZING Oregon zoo (Nolan is now 6 1/2!) Jack and Mila (Mila just turned 4 on the 28th) They has POLAR BEARS there! One cam up to say hi to the kids - it was pretty incredible. The thing is the size of a volkswagon! Anya was there too - now 18 months!
