Monterey

Last weekend Harmony invited us to stay with her for the weekend at her grandma's timeshare in Monterey! She then took us to the Aquarium and it was ABSOLUTELY breathtaking! Jack was beside himself!




We ate at the famous Bubba Gump's and put Jack's feet in Gump's shoes!

We ran into some Carmel firefighters - they gave Jack a hat, stickers and put the lights on the rig for him! So fun! He looks miserable here but it was more of "I cannot believe I am in front of a REAL fire truck with REAL fire fighters" sort of reaction - it was almost too much for him! Kind of an out of body experience if you will!

Mother's Day Weekend

We celebrated Mother's Day with my mom Friday at a great little restaurant on the river!



We then went to The Woods' house on Saturday for the rest of Mother's Day weekend. They live on a beautiful golf course with gorgeous sunsets!

At dusk we took Jack down to run around the grass.

The Woods treated us to an AMAZING brunch at a golf course! THANK YOU! It was delicious and fun to be with family!

Trucks & tractors, & letters OH MY!

Jack has rrreeeaalllllyy been diving into his all-motor vehicles lately as well as daily time practicing/playing with letters - he is obsessed with both! He is talking more and more each day and truly becoming my best companion. He loves being in the garden with me and watching/helping me cook! He also LOVES "skyping" with friends! It is hard to believe that soon he will be two! He gets his second hair cut this weekend by Grandma Sandy!
